Performances

Over the years, I gradually started to make larger and larger drawings and paintings, enjoying the movement of the body. Before, when I worked on an illustration or etching, I would draw tiny details. But today, I often draw much bigger. Walls and large sheets of paper are a playground.

When I start a drawing, I love not knowing where I’m going. It can be quite hypnotic to watch someone drawing or painting. With a live performance, I like that it’s ephemeral; it’s not a mural that would stay; it’s of the magical present. I particularly love performing with other artists.
